Too Much Information

I was going to wait and post the results of Parker's soccer game, the outcome of Gil's nightmare robot project (don't get me started), and gush about our spring break plans. However, I just couldn't wait.

This morning I found myself on whitepages.com looking up addresses for some thank you notes I was writing. I typed dad's first and last name and found this http://www.whitepages.com/search/FindPerson?extra_listing=mixed&form_mode=opt_b&post_back=1&firstname_begins_with=1&firstname=Douglas&name=Workman&street=&city_zip=&state_id=AZ&localtime=survey
At first I was pretty amused because based on this listing, it appears that he is not married to mom, but to himself. Actually, someone who didn't know him would think he was married to another man. Then I noticed that the age of dad and dad is listed. So much for keeping ages from the pages of a resume.

I'm sure this is old news to all of you techies out there. However, I feel I'm starting to close the gap...first a blog...then whitepages.com...the world of cyberspace is my oyster.

Parker's Musings

I feel like I have been dragged into the world of blogging. I will confess, I am a reluctant blogger and although I am the oldest child in my family, I am the last to join with my blogging siblings. Here goes...

Actually, I have again been inspired by my 7 year old son, Parker's, writings. Yesterday, before reading the Dr. Seuss book, "Oh the Places You'll Go!" Parker and his classmates made a few lists. I have included Parker's funniest.
